Privacy Policy

Who we are
eWordly is operated by Maestro Media Group, a digital media company. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit ewordly.com or use any of our word games and tools.
Information we collect
Account information. If you sign in with Google or with an email magic link, we receive your email address and (for Google) your name and profile picture. We store this in our authentication database (Supabase) to keep you signed in across visits.
Game data. When you play Daily Scramble, Word Trace, or other games while signed in, we save your scores, words found, and completion times. This data is linked to your account and used to display your stats, streaks, and position on leaderboards.
Usage data. We use standard web analytics to understand which tools and pages are most useful. This includes pages visited, time spent, device type, and approximate geographic region. We do not track you across other websites.
Anonymous play. If you use eWordly without signing in, we do not collect any personally identifying information. Game progress is stored only in your browser's local storage and is lost when you clear your browser data.
How we use your information
- To keep you signed in and remember your preferences
- To save and display your game scores, streaks, and leaderboard rankings
- To send you a daily puzzle email (only if you've opted in)
- To improve eWordly by understanding which features are used
- To respond to support requests you send us
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with advertisers.
Third-party services we use
- Supabase — stores your account and game data (servers in the United States)
- Vercel — hosts the eWordly website
- Google OAuth — handles sign-in if you choose Google
- Mailgun — sends emails (magic links, optional daily puzzle)
Each of these services has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle data we pass to them.
Your rights
You can:
- Request a copy of your data by emailing info@maestromediax.com
- Delete your account at any time — this removes all game data and your authentication record
- Opt out of any optional emails by clicking unsubscribe in the email
If you're in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. To exercise any of these rights, email us.
Children
eWordly is suitable for all ages, but we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify signed-in users by email.
